PSG & Sons’ Charities celebrated its 100th Founders’ Day on 24th January 2026 at the Convention Centre, PSG Institute of Technology & Applied Research.
Padmanabhan, Chairman of Tata Chemicals, graced the occasion as the chief guest and delivered the special address. L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, presided over the event and delivered the presidential address.
GR Karthikeyan, Chairman, PSG & Sons’ Charities, graced the occasion and felicitated the awardees.
As part of the celebration, the 5th Brother 2.0 Chronicle, which chronicles the journey of the trust, was launched by the chief guest, and the first copy was received by the Managing Trustee.
The event also honoured four eminent personalities. Dr. R. V. Ramani, Founder of Sankara Eye Foundation, and Radhakrishnan, IPS (Retd.), Former Director General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Tamil Nadu, received the PSG Vishwa Seva Rathna Award.
Navakanta Bhat, Dean of the Division of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and Kalaimamani Sudha Ragunathan, eminent Carnatic vocalist, received the PSG Vishwa Gnana Rathna Award.
Earlier, Jayanthi, Principal of PSG College of Arts & Science, delivered the welcome address, and Giriraj, Principal of PSG Polytechnic College, proposed the vote of thanks.
Heads of PSG, faculty members, alumni, and students were present at the event.
