PSG Public Schools organised a grand carnival titled “FUNFROLIC” on 20 December 2025 at the Primary Wing, centred on the theme “Futuristic World”.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, and visitors. The carnival was inaugurated by Kanchana, Director – Global Engagement, PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, in the esteemed presence of L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons Charities.

The carnival highlighted the evolution of education, agriculture, transportation, technology, architecture, and medical sciences.

One of the major attractions was the exhibition on the evolution of education, where students depicted the journey from the Gurukul system, clay tablets, and quill pens to present-day smart classrooms and envisioned future learning through robot-assisted education, drones, virtual reality classrooms, and brain–computer interfaces.

Another highlight was the exhibition on “Agriculture in the Past, Present, Future, and Space”. Students showcased models representing traditional farming practices, modern agricultural technologies, future innovations such as vertical farming and AI-based agriculture, and concepts of growing plants in space.

The technology zone featured Arduino, robotics, and networking projects that highlighted creativity, coding skills, and smart technologies, inspiring students to explore innovation and understand connected digital systems.

Students of Grades 3, 4, and 5 showcased the evolution of transportation, tracing its development from palanquins and rafts to hyperloops and space shuttles. They also explained the concept of smart roads with sensors and intelligent signals, emphasising safety, time efficiency, energy conservation, and environmental sustainability.

The architecture display featured models of famous architectural landmarks, linking the past, present, and future in a continuous journey of growth and innovation. By drawing lessons from traditional designs, enhancing modern structures, and planning sustainable futures, architecture was presented as a key force in shaping a better world. The display invited visitors to appreciate how buildings narrate the story of human progress.

The medical science segment focused on future advancements in healthcare and research, imagining the world in the year 3025. Students presented concepts of a disease-free world, featuring 3D-printed organs for organ failure, nanobots targeting cancer cells, robotic surgeries, and advanced genetic editing.
