PSG Polytechnic College recently organised the Students’ Project Expo – 2026. The Chief Guest, Prakasan, Principal of PSG College of Technology, inaugurated the expo in the presence of Giriraj, Principal of PSG Polytechnic College; Arasu, Head, Department of Foundry Technology; and other department heads.

A total of 600 final-year students from 15 departments showcased 147 projects at the expo—the event aimed to promote innovation and practical learning among students.

The Chief Guest also released a book titled A Profile of Students’ Project Expo 2026.

Prakasan emphasised the importance of practical knowledge and creativity. Giriraj presided over the expo and encouraged students to engage in research activities.

The departments exhibited their projects, including Mechanical, Automobile, Foundry, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, and Textile and Apparel Technology.

The projects focused on areas such as automation, smart technologies, AI, and IoT. Students actively explained their ideas and project outcomes.

The projects were evaluated by 12 judges based on innovation, feasibility, presentation, and real-time application.

The expo attracted many visitors, including faculty, students, industry representatives, and school students. Interactive sessions and live demonstrations made the event both informative and engaging.

The valedictory ceremony was held this evening, with Chandramohan, Director (Exams) of PSG Institutions, as the Chief Guest. He presented awards and certificates to the best projects.

The Project Expo – 2026 provided students with an excellent platform to showcase their talents, enhance their confidence, and gain exposure to current industry trends.

The event reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and hands-on learning.
