The Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CII&E) of PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, has been recognized among the Top 15 Incubation Centres in Tamil Nadu under the StartupTN – Incubation Scale-up Initiative during the Tamil Nadu Global Startup Summit 2025, held at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, on October 9–10, 2025.
The grant sanction order was officially handed over to the PSG team on October 10, 2025, by Jeyaranjan, Vice Chairman, State Planning Commission, and Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director & CEO, StartupTN, Government of Tamil Nadu.
As part of this recognition, the Centre has been awarded an Incubation Scale-up Grant of ₹5,00,000 by StartupTN towards the upgradation and enhancement of its incubation facilities.
About Business Incubation Centre
The Business Incubation Centre operates in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, which is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. It also works closely with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell to conduct various entrepreneurship training programmes.
With a mission to empower aspiring entrepreneurs, the Centre provides extensive mentoring, training, and funding facilitation, enabling student and faculty innovators to transform their ideas into impactful start-ups.
