The Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CII&E) and the E-Cell of PSG College of Arts & Science organised Elampreneurs 2026, an inter-school innovation competition, on 24 January 2025.
The event was conducted as part of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) activities and aimed to inculcate innovation, creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and problem-solving skills among school students.

The programme was graced by Pradeep Yuvaraj, Chief Storyteller, Prezantium, as the Chief Guest. He delivered an inspiring and highly engaging interaction session, enacting real-life success stories of startups and entrepreneurs.
His storytelling approach effectively motivated students to think creatively about their future, choose appropriate higher education pathways, explore opportunities in Science & Technology, Commerce, and Management, and understand various government initiatives supporting innovation and startups.

The presidential address was delivered by Jayanthi, Principal of the college, who appreciated the enthusiastic participation of school students and encouraged them to pursue innovation-driven learning.
The felicitation address was given by Uthira, Vice Principal, who presented an overview of the event and highlighted the importance of early exposure to innovation and entrepreneurship.
Earlier, Pugalenthi, IIC Marketing & Social Media Lead, delivered the welcome address. This was followed by the event preamble delivered by Krishnaveni, CII&E Coordinator, who briefed the students on the objectives and expected outcomes of the competition.

Vijayakumar, Incubation Manager, explained the competition guidelines and coordinated with the volunteers to ensure the smooth conduct of multiple events held in parallel.
The competitions conducted included i-Expo with 30 teams, B-Quiz with 40 teams, E-Debate with 40 teams, Adzap with 30 teams, and an i-Logo Design/Painting competition with 90 individual participants.
The event witnessed the participation of over 350 school students from 20 schools, along with more than 50 teachers, 50 parents, over 70 volunteers, and more than 10 staff members from the college.

Winners and runners-up of all competitions, except i-Expo, were awarded trophies and prizes, while the top three teams in i-Expo received cash prizes. All participants were awarded medals and certificates.
