PSG College of Nursing celebrated its Foundation Day on 7th November 2025 at the PSG IMSR Auditorium by honouring three of its alumni with the Distinguished Alumni Award for their contributions to society and excellence in their respective fields.
Ani Grace Kalaimathi, Registrar of the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai, graced the occasion as the chief guest and conferred the awards.
Jeyadeepa, Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address, while L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the event and delivered the presidential address.
The three awardees were Senthilkumar, Principal, Lourde College of Nursing, Kerala; Meena Putturaj, Assistant Professor and DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Fellow at the Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru; and Joshi Prabhu, Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the School of Health and Society, University of Salford, United Kingdom.
As part of the celebration, the college’s Alumni Magazine was released, and the chief guest launched the college’s official website.
G.R. Karthikeyan, Chairman of PSG & Sons’ Charities, along with the heads and principals of PSG institutions, faculty members, students, and family members of the awardees, attended the event.
