To recognise the exceptional contributions of faculty members in academic and research achievements for the year 2024, the Awards Day 2025 was recently celebrated at PSG College of Arts & Science.
Senguttuvan, Principal-in-Charge, welcomed the gathering. Rudramoorthy, Director, PSG Centre for Academic Research and Excellence, emphasized the importance of teaching, updating the curriculum to align with industry expectations, and equipping students with skills that enhance their employability and earning potential.
He also encouraged faculty members to focus on research and innovation in their respective fields, as it fosters critical thinking and leads to more effective teaching.
Kannaian, Secretary, felicitated the function. In his address, he expressed gratitude to the management for their generous financial support towards faculty contributions. The event was graced by the presence of Vice Principals Jayanthi and Umarani.
Sivakumar, Librarian, proposed the vote of thanks, highlighting that “Every achievement is a milestone, and every milestone is a testament to dedication. This award serves as a reminder that excellence is a journey, not a destination. We must continue to collaborate, innovate, and strive for even greater milestones in the years to come.”
