Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore, in collaboration with the Digital South Trust, recently organised India’s first and largest Blockchain Faculty Development Programme (FDP).
The landmark session brought together faculty representatives from 57 colleges across the region. Rev. Sr. Kulanthai Therese, Secretary, and Rev. Sr. Mary Fabiola, Principal, presided over the session.
Participants gained hands-on insights into blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, real-world use cases, and emerging career opportunities.
The initiative marks a significant step toward advancing blockchain education and nurturing future-ready academic leadership in India.
