Nilgiri College of Arts and Science celebrated its 13th Annual College Day, named Mayukha 2025, with two days of vibrant festivities, academic reflection, and cultural brilliance.
Tiruchi Siva, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, was the chief guest, and he delivered an inaugural address. He encouraged students to remain ambitious, resilient, and socially responsible in their pursuit of success.
Rashid Gazzali, Managing Director and Secretary of Nilgiri College, delivered the Chair’s Address, commending the achievements of the college and urging students to continue striving for excellence. His visionary leadership and continued commitment to student development remain central to the institution’s progress.
Bala Shanmuga Devi, Principal, presented the Annual Report 2024–2025, highlighting the college’s academic milestones, extracurricular achievements, and future goals. Mohan Babu, Vice Chairman of the Governing Body, extended his support and appreciation to the entire college community.
Renjith, Vice Principal, and Ummer, Campus Manager, were also present.
During the celebration, students who demonstrated excellence in academics, arts, sports, and social service were honoured. Certificates were awarded to students who completed the prestigious Infosys training programme, and those who secured placements with leading companies were also recognized.
The first day of Mayukha 2025 featured a motivational session by popular social media influencer Noor Jaleela, whose words energized the students. The evening had a music band Illam.
