The Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI), in association with Rotary Disha 2026, organised NGI – Shiv Khera Connect: Leadership Empowerment Summit 2026 recently.
Anirudhan, Registrar, P. K. Das University, delivered the welcome address. He emphasised the importance of leadership development and value-based education for the younger generation.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions, who highlighted the institution’s vision of nurturing responsible leaders through quality education and holistic development.
A Special Address was delivered by Kuriachan, the Governor of Rotary International and an international motivational speaker, who shared valuable insights on leadership, perseverance, and social responsibility.
The summit featured an inspiring motivational session by a renowned motivational speaker, leadership trainer, and bestselling author, Shiv Khera, whose impactful address encouraged students to develop a positive attitude, strong character, and leadership qualities necessary for success in life.
Through his powerful message on positive thinking, discipline, and integrity, he encouraged young minds to believe in themselves and work with dedication to achieve their goals.

During the summit, the Outstanding Talent of NGI Award was presented to 11 outstanding students representing various institutions under the umbrella of the Nehru Group of Institutions, Tamil Nadu, in recognition of their excellence in academics, leadership, innovation, and active contribution to institutional activities.
The event concluded with Vote of Thanks delivered by Balaji, Dean, Nehru Institute of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences.
