As the world evolves, so does education. Today’s millennial students, driven by a belief that the future lies in the impossible, are redefining competitiveness, in response to this shift, the Nehru Group of Institutions has launched the Technology Business Incubator (TCI) IDEA Program, recently.

This launch is designed to ignite young minds with an innovation-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.

The program encourages students to rethink traditional approaches and embrace new, impactful solutions.

The IDEA Program aims to foster awareness around technology, innovation, and social causes, empowering students to think beyond the conventional. While many countries have long integrated innovation into their educational systems, India is still catching up. In this regard, the NGI TBI IDEA Program has signed MoUs with five schools in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, with plans to expand its reach to more schools across India.

The official launch began with the Presidential address delivered by Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary of the institutions, and President of the institutions, who also serves as the Mission Director of the IDEA Program.

The Chief Guest address was delivered by Vinodh Kumar, CEO of CDIIC, Coimbatore; Pradeep Yuvaraj, Vice President, TiE Coimbatore; Krithik Vijayakumar, Young Entrepreneur and TEDx Speaker and Vigneshwaran, CEO, Virtual Frontier Robotics.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Nagaraja, Executive Director, Academics and Administration, Nehru Group of Institutions.

The event also honored several notable figures in education and entrepreneurship including, Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College; Rajeev Warrier, Executive Vice President, Wadhwani Foundation; Sujatha, Principal of Entrepreneur Education, Wadhwani Foundation.
