The Tiruppur City Municipal Corporation, Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA), and The Hindu Group jointly launched a coffee table book on the Tiruppur district titled “Made in Tiruppur” at the TEA office recently.

Saminathan, Minister for Tamil Development, Information and Publicity, Government of Tamil Nadu, attended the event as the Chief Guest and released the book. The first copy was received by Padma Shri Sakthivel, Honorary Chairman of TEA.

Thirukkumaran, General Secretary of the association, delivered the welcome address. Babu Vijay, Assistant Vice President – Circulation, The Hindu Group, Chennai, and Soundarya Preetha, Deputy Chief of Bureau, The Hindu Group, Coimbatore, delivered the felicitation addresses.

Subramanian, President of the association, spoke on the topic “Tiruppur So Far,” while Sakthivel addressed the gathering on “Tiruppur: Now and the Future.”
