The College Cultural Committee of KV Institute of Management and Information Studies celebrated Holi, recently.
This festival emphasized the significance of Holi in promoting unity and joy.
Faculty and students enthusiastically participated in the festivities, smearing colours on each other and dancing to the beats of traditional and Bollywood Holi songs. The day was a vibrant mix of music, dance, and colour-throwing games.
A special highlight of the event was the eco-friendly approach taken by the organizers. Natural, skin-friendly colours were used to ensure a safe and sustainable celebration. Additionally, water conservation efforts were promoted, encouraging students to celebrate with dry colours.
The festival also featured a cultural program where students performed folk dances, sang Holi-themed songs, and colour throwing games of Holi.
Speaking on the occasion, the students expressed their gratitude to the organizing team and emphasized the importance of celebrating cultural traditions in an inclusive manner.
“The Holi celebration at KVIM was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and happiness among all attendees. It truly embodied the essence of the festival—spreading love, laughter, and colours of joy,” said the organisers.
