Narendhirakannan, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, is travelling to the United States of America to participate in the 41st Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference.

The conference is being jointly hosted by the University of Texas at Tyler and the Mississippi Academy of Sciences, USA.

The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial and The Covai Mail extend their best wishes for a successful journey.

Narendhirakannan will be presenting the findings of his research on the potential anti-colorectal cancer effects of gold nanoparticles synthesised using Vitis vinifera (grape) seeds and Aegle marmelos (Vilvam) fruits.

His travel is fully funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)—formerly known as DST-SERB, Government of India—under its International Travel Support Scheme.
