KG Healthcare and the Tamil Nadu government exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which KG Healthcare will invest ₹1,006 crore in Coimbatore to establish a new hospital, generating 5,000 jobs.
The exchange took place during the TN Rising Investors’ Meeting held at Hotel Le Méridien on 25th November 2025.
The agreement was exchanged between Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam, Chairman of KG Hospital, and Darez Ahamed, Managing Director of Guidance, the state’s investment promotion and single-window facilitation agency under the Industries Department. Ashok Bakthavathsalam, Managing Director of the KGiSL Group of Companies & Institutions, was also present.
