KG College of Nursing recently organised its Alumni Meet for the first batch of BSc Nursing Students (1995-1999).
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Bakthavathsalam, Chairman, KG Hospital and Vasanthi, Managing Trustee.
At the meet, alumni expressed their gratitude to Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam, noting, ‘He was a strict yet affectionate father as well as a teacher to us.’ They further mentioned that the doctors, seniors, and faculty treated and taught them like their own family.”
The alumni thanked Dr. Bakthavathsalam and Vasanthi by stating, ‘Each of our gratitude speeches was made possible only because you gave us a strong foundation.’
Furthermore, the alumni expressed their gratitude for KG Hospital being a multi-specialty hospital that treated all types of patients, which enabled them to take up positions in the USA, UK, Australia, Gulf countries, and in India.
The alumni shared their happiness by stating that all the doctors, nurse managers, and everyone at KG Hospital contributed to who they are today.
They also expressed regret that only a few could attend the alumni gathering.
The alumni thanked Dr. Bakthavathsalam and Vasanthi for the facilities and the freedom they provided to help them do their best.
Moreover, the alumni noted, “We sincerely thank Dr. Bakthavathsalam for the hospitality and gifts we received and mentioned that it was an unforgettable and awesome alumni meet.”
