Karpagam Medical College conducted its 7th Graduation Ceremony recently. The event was presided over by Vasanthakumar, Chairman of Karpagam Educational Institutions. Chandrasekaran, Principal of Karpagam Medical College, led the ceremony.
Padma Shri awardee Dr. Digambar Behera, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, graced the occasion as the chief guest, delivered a special address, and conferred degrees to the graduates.
A total of 138 students received their degrees in undergraduate medicine, and 10 students in postgraduate medical studies. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to the top scorers in the university examinations.
The event was also attended by Dr. Murugaiya, Chief Executive Officer of Karpagam Educational Institutions, Dr. Nirmala, Vice Principal; Dr. Arun, Resident Medical Officer; Dr. Venkatesan, Medical Director; medical professors, heads of departments, and parents.
