An Interschool Recycling Championship award ceremony was held on January 30, 2026, at the SNR Auditorium, Nava India, in Coimbatore.
The awards were presented for the recently concluded competition titled Wellbeing Out of Waste (WOW), an initiative of ITC that was implemented by the Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC).
Sanket Balwant Waghe, Additional Collector (Development) and Project Director, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), graced the occasion as the chief guest and presented awards to the winners.
Mahidhar Babu, Unit HR Head and Chief Manager, ITC–PSPD; Murali, Unit Head, Kovai ITC–PSPD; and Umakanth, Deputy General Manager, WOW, ITC–PSPD, attended the event as guests of honour.
Balasubramanian, President, RAAC; Raveendran, Vice President; and Ravichandran, Project Manager, RAAC–WOW, were also present at the ceremony.
