Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women, Coimbatore in collaboration with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), Coimbatore Chapter organised an International Conference on the theme “Unlocking Green Growth: Sustainability as a Catalyst for Business Innovation in the Technology-Driven Era” on October 16, 2025.

“Organisations across industries are rethinking their models, embracing green technologies, circular economies, ethical governance and socially responsible innovation,” said the keynote speaker Sayi Chorath, Director of Tinnovat Science & Technology Consulting, Dubai.

He emphasised that fostering environmentally responsible growth not only strengthens the foundation of economic progress but also promotes innovation driven by sustainability.

Ramaswamy, Director & Head of Finance, Gvig Group of Companies, South East Asia, and Shalini Venugopal, Programme Head (BBA), Faculty of Business & Management, City University, Malaysia, delivered plenary talks on the theme of the conference.

Around 120 research papers were presented by academicians, research scholars, students from India and abroad in online and offline mode. Best papers were rewarded in the valedictory meeting.

Chitra, Principal of the college, presided over and explained the core of the conference. Maheswaran, Chairman of ICMAI delivered the felicitation address.
