The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the NGP Institute of Technology (NGP iTech) organized the International Conference on Research Advancements and Innovations in Sustainable Engineering (ICRAISE – 2025) was held recently, sponsored by Indian Society for Technical Education.

The conference provided a platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange insights on cutting-edge advancements in sustainable engineering.

Sreebalaji, Professor & Head of Mechanical Engineering, delivered the welcome address.

Srinivasan, Scientist/Engineer, ISRO Thiruvananthapuram, in his keynote speech, discussed India’s latest space research, while Santhakumar Mohan from IIT Palakkad highlighted advancements in robotics and automation.

Puviyarasu from Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Léonard de Vinci (ESILV), Paris elaborated on smart manufacturing, and Pinnamaneni Bhanu Prasad from Kelenn Technology, France emphasized strategies for sustainable development.

The conference featured technical sessions, research paper presentations, and panel discussions, fostering collaborative learning and innovation.

The conference reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to research excellence and innovation, strengthening its position as a leading institution in sustainable engineering advancements, said the organisers.
