The Department of Computer Applications (PG) at Hindusthan College of Arts & Science organised the 7th International Conference on Computer Applications and Information Technology (CAIT 2026) recently at the college.

Revathy, Head of the Department delivered the welcome address during the inaugural session.

The presidential address was delivered by Sudhakar, Director, Department of MBA, who emphasized the significance of research-driven education and technological innovation in addressing contemporary challenges.

During the inaugural session, the official Conference Proceedings were formally released. The proceedings volume comprises peer-reviewed research papers presented by academicians, research scholars, industry professionals, and postgraduate students.

The publication reflects the quality research contributions shared during the conference and serves as a valuable academic reference.

The inaugural address was delivered by Ravindran Raghavan, Business Consultant, Omni Health Company, Australia. He provided insightful perspectives on the practical applications of emerging technologies across global industries.

The special address was delivered by Rajendra Arunasalam, Chairman, Omni Health Group of Companies, Australia, who highlighted the transformative role of Information Technology in business innovation and digital transformation.

The conference witnessed participation from faculty members, research scholars, students, and industry professionals from various institutions.

Approximately 40 research papers were presented during the conference. Among them, three best papers were selected by the review committee and awarded attractive cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding research contributions.
