CMS College of Science and Commerce recently celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at its campus in Coimbatore.
Uma Menon, wife of the late Menon, Founder Chairman of the CMS Educational and Charitable Trust, hoisted the national flag.
Gereesan, Chairman of the Trust, delivered the Independence Day message. Earlier, Principal Vimalanand welcomed the gathering.
The day, marking 78 years of India’s freedom, paid tribute to the valiant efforts of the freedom fighters.
Sajiesh Kumar, Vice-Chairman; Chandrakumar, Secretary; Sashidharan, Joint Secretary; and several managing trustees graced the occasion.
The college NCC cadets presented an impressive parade, showcasing discipline, precision, and patriotic fervour as part of the celebrations.
