The Department of Commerce with International Business, Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS) organized a Career Guidance Programme recently.
P.Arumugaswamy, HOD of Commerce (IB) gave the welcome address. Dr. A.Ponnusamy, Principal of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, delivered the presidential address.
The keynote speaker, K.S.Sathish from the Regional Passport Office, Ministry of External Affairs, delivered an informative lecture on various career opportunities, including those in the forest service, Staff Selection Commission, and UPSC. He also shared valuable preparation tips and notified the students about upcoming SSC examination dates.
During his visit to Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, K.S.Sathish, met T.R.K Sarasuwathi, Managing Trustee, Hindustan Education and Charitable Trust and he conveyed his heartfelt appreciation for the trust’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for students to succeed in their lives. He commended the trust’s dedication to providing quality education and fostering a supportive community that enables students to reach their full potential.
The meeting was a testament to the trust’s commitment to excellence in education and its impact on students’ lives.
Around 200 students actively participated and interacted with the chief guest at the event. Dr. A. Priya, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce (IB) ended the programme with a vote of thanks.
