The Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu inaugurated Crafts Bazaar 2025, a six-day exhibition held from 17th July to 22nd July 2025 at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam. The event is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with free entry for all visitors.

The exhibition features a wide variety of art, craft items, clothing, and antiques — all handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans.

Crafts Bazaar is an annual event conducted in Coimbatore, providing a platform for craftspeople from across India to showcase and sell their work to a large and diverse customer base.

In Textiles:

The expo showcases a wide range of traditional and regional textile arts, including Soof embroidery, Phulkari, Chikankari, Barmer applique, Phulia, Mangalgiri, Chettinad handlooms, Kashmiri work, Toda embroidery, Patola, Gadwal, Bandhej, Ajrakh, Shibori, Tussars, Bagru and Jaipur hand block prints, Lambadi embroidery, and many others.

In Art & Craft:

The exhibition features a vibrant collection of handcrafted items such as blue pottery, wood carving, brassware, durries, lac bangles, lights and mobiles, reed baskets, glass bangles, wooden inlay work, cane and bamboo crafts, Dokra art, Kolhapuri chappals, sholapith items, dry flowers, Meenakari, Kalchatti cookware, lampshades, jute bags, Olai baskets, terracotta jewellery and sculptures, Theyyam masks, screw pine crafts, and more.

In Paintings:

The expo also presents a diverse array of traditional Indian paintings, including Gond, Mithila, Mysore paintings, Cheriyal scrolls, Kawad, Sanjhi, Pichwai, Rajasthani miniatures, Lippan art, Bangla Pattachitra, Guruvayur murals, Warli, and Odisha Pattachitra.
