Central Academy for State Forest Service, Coimbatore organised Convocation Ceremony for the 2022-24 batch trainees who have completed 29th professional course. The event held at the academy on 26th November 2024.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Sanjay Sharma, Minister of Forest, Environment and Climate Change & Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan and the Guest of Honour, Ravi, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Department of Forest, Government of Karnataka.
Raj Kumar Bajpai, Director, Directorate of Forest Education, Dehradun presided over the convocation.
A total of 52 officer trainees were awarded Certificates by the Chief Guest.
Out of the 52 Officer, 37 secured Honours Certificate and the remaining 15 were qualified for Pass certificate. Lata Guru Bhat, with 85.67%, Madhuramurthy with 84.79% and Sandeep Kammar with 82.71%, secured First, Second and Third rank respectively.
Gold Medal for overall Topper of the Course & Silver Medal for the Best All Round Trainee and Most Practical Forester backed by Lata Guru Bhat from Karnataka. Silver Medal for Forest Management and Working Plan awarded to Anurag Maharshi from Rajasthan. Silver Medal for Ecology awarded to Lata Guru Bhat.
