On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Coimbatore Chapter, celebrated its flagship event, the “Sadhana Awards,” at The Residency Towers on 7th March 2025.
Deepa Seshadri, Partner & Cyber Leader at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, was the Chief Guest. CA. Meena Swaminathan, Chairperson and Executive Committee Member of FLO Coimbatore, welcomed the audience.
During the event, five distinguished women of inspiration received awards: Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; Sanjana Vijayakumar, Co-Founder of Town & City Developers; Lavanya Sankar, Classical Dancer and Founder-Director of Abhyasa Academy of Classical Dance; Deepa Muthukumarasamy, Founder and CEO of Some More Foods Pvt Ltd; and Raciamma, Manufacturer of Herbal Products from Senguttaiyur village.
In her keynote address, Deepa Seshadri shared her experiences and deep insights on women in leadership and the importance of digital transformation in the efficient management of organisations.
The FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) is the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The FLO Coimbatore Chapter was established three decades ago and focuses on women’s empowerment at the grassroots, middle, and corporate levels.
