In a proactive step to strengthen inter-agency coordination and enhance crisis response capabilities, the 105 Battalion of the Rapid Action Force (RAF), Coimbatore, conducted a rehearsal exercise in collaboration with Kovilpalayam Police Station on 13th August 2025, at the police station.
As part of the exercise, RAF officers met with civil police officials to review coordination protocols for potential crises. The session included a detailed briefing on the roles and responsibilities of the RAF in maintaining law and order, crowd management, and disaster response operations.
The readiness of troops, equipment, and resources was also assessed to ensure swift and effective deployment whenever required. This initiative aimed to foster seamless cooperation between the RAF and the local police for the efficient handling of emergencies.
The exercise was conducted under the leadership of Sindhu, Deputy Commandant of 105 RAF, with active participation from SSR Venkatachalam, SSR Krishnan, HC357 Sathish, and PC1585 Durai.
RAF 105 Battalion remains steadfast in its commitment to public safety through preparedness, professionalism, and close partnership with local law enforcement agencies.
