The Investigation Wing of the Income Tax Department, Coimbatore, conducted an awareness program on 15 October 2025 at the Income Tax Office, Race Course, Coimbatore.
The program aimed to create awareness about Income Tax compliance in the poultry sector.
The program was organised for companies, firms, and entrepreneurs representing various stakeholders of the poultry industry, including egg production, egg hatching, breeding, and broiler farming.
Around 60 participants from the top 30 poultry business groups attended the awareness session.
The program concluded with a feedback session, during which participants raised queries related to Income Tax aspects specific to their field. Officers from the Income Tax Department addressed all the queries raised.
