P. Eswaramoorthy & Company, Company Secretaries, Coimbatore, has been honoured with the “Best Secretarial Audit Award” at the national level for the year 2025.
The award was presented during the 25th edition of the ICSI National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance, held on 19 December 2025 in New Delhi.
The event was graced by Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. The award jury was chaired by Justice D. Y. Chandrachud, former Chief Justice of India.
Padma Shri P. T. Usha, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and President, Indian Olympic Association, and Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), were the Guests of Honour.
Congratulating the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for its sustained contribution to good corporate governance, Raj Bhushan Choudhary stated that ICSI has been nurturing ethical practices through these awards for the past 25 years. In alignment with the vision of “Viksit Bharat”, he noted that ICSI has positioned India Inc. as a beacon of good governance.
Commending ICSI’s role in nurturing governance professionals and guiding corporates, P. T. Usha remarked that Company Secretaries play a silent yet decisive role by ensuring compliance, advising boards, upholding integrity, and acting as conscience keepers of organizations.
Highlighting the importance of corporate governance as the foundation of market growth, Tuhin Kanta Pandey observed that as participation in the market deepens, the responsibility of a Company Secretary increases. He added that they are custodians of stakeholder confidence, translating broad governance principles into effective boardroom practices.
Dhananjay Shukla, President, ICSI, stated that the 25 years of these awards reiterate ICSI’s unwavering dedication to reinforcing a culture of responsible corporate leadership, strengthening investor confidence, and contributing to the vision of a resilient and sustainable India Inc.
On receiving the award, P. Eswaramoorthy said that the recognition reflects the trust and consistent support of clients and the collective efforts of the firm’s dedicated team. He noted that the award is not merely an achievement but a responsibility to continue delivering the highest standards of professional excellence, integrity, and compliance support.
He further stated that the recognition is a moment of pride not only for Coimbatore but for the entire South India.
