The CIO Association, Coimbatore Chapter, an association of Information Technology Heads (Chief Information Officers) from companies in and around Coimbatore, celebrated its 10th Anniversary on 23rd August 2025 at Merlis Hotel, Coimbatore.
Members from the Coimbatore Chapter, along with participants from other chapters, around 150 in total, attended the event. About 19 IT vendors sponsored the event and showcased their solutions and products through presentations and exhibitions.

The Chief Guest for the event was Swami Mitrananda, a direct disciple of Swami Chinmayananda, the founder of Chinmaya Mission. Swami Mitrananda has been associated with the Mission from a very young age and currently serves as the Mentor and Convenor of Chinmaya Mission, Chennai, and North East India.
He delivered a thought-provoking session on the theme: “Work from Happiness, Not for Happiness”, a profound reminder to reimagine our approach to work and life, where happiness is not the destination but the very source of our journey.
Duraiswamy, President of the Association, welcomed the gathering, and Manoharan delivered the vote of thanks. The event was well organised by the Managing Committee members of the Association.
