Sharmila, Social Science Teacher of Chandra Matriculation Higher Secondary School, was honoured with the Academic Excellence Award for producing two centums in Social Science in the SSLC Public Examination held in May 2025.
The Association of Matriculation Schools and United Educational Institutions, Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, jointly organised the awards ceremony at the TELC Church Mandapam in Town Hall.
Engineer Shanmugam, Founder and Chairman of United Educational Institutions, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Padmanabhan, Managing Director of Lakshaka Insta Management and a member of the Senate of Bharathiar University, and Geetha Mani, Founder of ICP Professional Academy, Coimbatore, were the guests of honour.
Karpaga Jothi, Academic Convenor and Treasurer of the Association of Matriculation Schools; Ruby of Matriculation Higher Secondary School; Sivagamasundari of Sri Raghavendra Matriculation Higher Secondary School; and Vasanthi Balraj of Kongu Vellalar Matriculation Higher Secondary School were also present.
Sharmila was appreciated by the school management, teachers and parents.
