Nirmala College for Women, in association with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy, organised a career guidance program titled ‘Vazhikatti’ at the college on Wednesday for students who had completed their Class 12.
Motivational speaker and CEO of Win Your Weakness Motivation Academy, Ilaya Abdul Kalam Jegan, graced as the chief guest and inspired the students with his address.
The programme was presided over by Mary Fabiola, Principal of the college.
Rtn. Venkatesh Damodharan, President of the club, delivered the welcome address. He said the program was organised to guide and inspire students, and to equip them with the knowledge needed for their growth and contribution to society.
Rtn. Jayaganesh, GGR, spoke on the concept of “ASK”, explaining that ‘A’ stands for attitude, ‘S’ for skill, and ‘K’ for knowledge. He noted that by attending the programme, students develop the right attitude, enhance their skills, and gain knowledge.
Rtn. Ramanathan, project chairman, spoke about Rotary initiatives and motivated the students. Rtn. Sridhar proposed the vote of thanks.
Parents, faculty members, students from various schools, along with principals and teachers, were present at the event.
