Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ajjanur, recently celebrated Vinayagar Chaturthi with devotion and enthusiasm.
The programme began with a prayer, followed by the welcome address. As part of the celebration, a special speech was delivered on Mahakavi Bharathiyar, highlighting his contributions to Tamil literature and his inspiring ideals of courage, patriotism and social reform.
The programme continued with a speech on Lord Vinayagar, followed by devotional songs and a vibrant dance performance. A lively conversation between Lord Vinayagar and a young student about Vinayagar’s favourite foods added a fun and engaging element to the celebration. The highlight of the event was the auspicious Vinayagar procession, which was conducted with devotion and enthusiasm.
On the occasion, the Principal blessed the students for their success and encouraged them to excel in life while upholding strong values, inspired by the ideals of Lord Ganesha.
