Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, observed the 79th Independence Day with celebrations under the Viksit Bharat – Yuva Connect initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, part of the national vision to make India a developed nation by 2047.
The programme featured a special assembly, flag hoisting, and an address by Ajith Kumar, Registrar. A Viksit Bharat quiz engaged students on India’s history, achievements, and future goals.
The nationwide Yuva Connect initiative inspires youth to be ambassadors of development through awareness drives, cultural events, community service, and opportunities on the MY Bharat platform.
To be noted, the Viksit Bharat 2047 quiz is an online competition designed to test participants’ knowledge about India’s development journey.
And Yuva Connect involves inspirational interactions with students and youth across the country, as well as competitions like debates, quizzes, and essay writing on topics related to development, along with opportunities to directly share ideas on innovation, technology, sustainability, and social reform.
