Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Ettimadai, celebrated its two-day 25th Annual Day, marking 25 years of nurturing young minds through value-based education.
The celebrations brought together students, parents, alumni, faculty members and distinguished guests.
The celebrations, themed “God Dwells in Nature,” commenced on the first day under the presidentship of Swamini Muktamrita Prana, Manager, Amrita Vidyalayam, Ettimadai, Nallampalayam & Kalapatti.
The Chief Guest, Kanagasabapathi, Secretary & Trustee, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, New Delhi, spoke about India’s rich educational heritage and the need to preserve a value-based system of learning.
Jayalatha, Academic Consultant, Amrita Vidyalayam, delivered the felicitation address. Principal Nedumaran presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s progress in academics, technology-enabled learning, STEM education and student development.
Outstanding performers in academics, sports and co-curricular activities were honoured, followed by cultural performances depicting India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
The second day was presided over by Nikhileshamrita Chaitanya, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Ettimadai. Anil Variath, Dean, Amrita International School of Law, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, attended as the Chief Guest and encouraged students to build lives founded on character, compassion and integrity.
Felicitation addresses were delivered by Swamini Muktamrita Prana and Jayalatha, who spoke about the importance of family values, emotional well-being and ethical use of technology. The evening concluded with cultural performances.
The two-day celebration also recognised the achievements of students who excelled in academics, sports and other co-curricular activities.
