Rathinam College of Arts and Science in collaboration with the Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai, conducted the National Seminar on the theme “Innovation and Digitalization of the Insurance Industry in India: A New Era” recently.
The event was graced by Rajendrakumar, Chairman, Coimbatore Insurance Institute, Insurance Institute of India, Coimbatore Chapter along with ACMA Reshma Nair, Assistant Manager, Finance, V-Guard Industries Ltd HO, Cochin, Kerala.
Special guests included Vetrivel, Vice Chairman, Coimbatore Insurance Institute, Insurance Institute of India, Coimbatore Chapter and Pravin Kumar, Honorable Treasurer, Coimbatore Insurance Institute, Insurance Institute of India – Coimbatore Chapter.
Hemalatha, Dean, School of Commerce, Rathinam College of Arts and Science welcomed the gathering. The Presidential address was delivered by Manickam, CEO & Secretary, Rathinam group of institutions.
Balasubramaniam, Principal of the college delivered the felicitation address. The inaugural addresses were delivered by Rajendrakumar and Reshma Nair. Special addresses were also delivered by Vetrivel and Pravin Kumar.
The conference received 220 research papers, and 415 participants, including professors, Research scholars and students from various colleges participated and presented in the seminar.
