The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City, in collaboration with Rotary District 3201, recently organized a signature project named ‘Nectar of Life’ at the Sri Ramakrishna Hospital.
The occasion marked a remarkable milestone—the collection of over 1.3 million millilitres of mothers’ milk through the Nectar of Life initiative and the launch of a focused awareness campaign.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Swathy Rohit, COO of SNR Sons Charitable Trust and the Guest of Honour, Rtn. Adv. AKS N. Sundaravadivelu, District Governor 2024-25, shared invaluable insights and applauded the community’s collective efforts.
The Nectar of Life initiative has been a transformative program, ensuring that newborns, especially preemies and medically fragile infants, have access to the life-saving benefits of mothers’ milk. The event was a great success thanks to the dedicated contributions of doctors, Mothers, healthcare professionals, and volunteers.
