India Exim Bank organised an Outreach Programme on “Exim Bank’s Innovative Export Financing Solutions” at Fortune Park Hotel, Trippur on 27th September 2024.
It was organized by the Madras Branch of the Bank for the benefit of Exporters in Tiruppur, Coimbatore, and Erode Districts.
Subramanian, President of Tiruppur Exporters’s Association was the Keynote Speaker in the event. Thirukkumaran, General Secretary of TEA, Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary and Sivasubramaniam and Anand, Executive Committee Members also took part in the meeting.
On behalf of Exim Bank Trupti Mhatre, General Manager and Hirva Mamtora, Managing Director of India Exim Finserce addressed the gathering.
Subramanian in his special address proudly mentioned that the export value of Readymade Garments and Knitted Garments has registered a growth of over 15% during the last month and that as indicated by Padmashri Sakthivel, Honorary Chairman of the Association, the markets are looking very positive and export volume of apparels would register a minimum Year-on-Year growth of 15% during 2024 2025.
He thanked the Management of all Nationalised and Private Banks for extending sufficient assistance to Tiruppur Exporters which helped in achieving an export turnover of Rs. 35,000 Crores and Domestic Business of Rs. 30,000 by the Tiruppur Cluster. He briefly mentioned the products offered by India Exim Finserve, the subsidiary of Exim Bank. As a closing remark, he requested the Banks to treat the Tiruppur entrepreneurs as MSMEs and not compare them with big corporates.
Swaminathan, Chapter Head, FIEO, Coimbatore explained the functions of FIEO and the benefits enjoyed by exporters who are members of FIEO. Trupti Mhatre and Hirva Mamtora of Exim Bank gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the products offered by Exim Bank to exporters.
