G Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital unveiled a T-shirt and Medal for the second edition of the ‘Run for Little Hearts’ Marathon, at the hospital premises on 16th September 2024.
Ragupathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital unveiled the t-shirt along with Srinivasan, Technical Chairman, Coimbatore Athletic Association; Kalyana Sundaram, Paediatric Cardiologist; Ajeitha, Paediatric Haematologist and Sanchita Harini, Paediatric Cardiologist.
During this event, Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy said that in the previous edition of Run For Little Hearts, 2000 members actively participated in the marathon and 29 children with heart defects and childhood cancer benefited from the funds collected. Further, he also added that GKNM Hospital, a unit of KNC trust is a pioneer in paediatric cardiac care and paediatric oncology in the city of Coimbatore. Our Paediatric Cardiac and Oncology unit is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities with advanced technologies to treat our little ones.
Veluswamy, also said this marathon is a great opportunity to step up and will save lives and make productive individuals. “By participating in the marathon you all will give children a future and their families hope,” Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy added.
