The Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Nirmala College for Women was held on Wednesday. The programme marked the formal installation of the new team of office bearers for the Rotary Year 2026–2027.
The programme was graced by several distinguished guests, including Mary Fabiola, Principal of the college; Rtn. Kannappan, President, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy; Rtn. PHF. Palaniappan, Past President; Rtr. MPHF. Vijay Vignesh, District Rotaract Representative, and Rtr. PP. Yeswanth Prabhu, Group Rotaract Representative – Group 3.
A significant moment of the programme was the collar ceremony, where the outgoing President, Ramya, handed over the President’s collar to the newly installed President, Rtr. Ancelin Antony, symbolising the official transfer of leadership and responsibility.
The outgoing Secretary presented the achievements and activities of the previous Rotary year, highlighting the various initiatives and contributions of the Rotaract Club during the year. This provided an overview of the club’s progress and accomplishments.
The distinguished guests addressed the gathering and shared their valuable thoughts, guidance and encouragement with the newly appointed office bearers. Their speeches motivated the new team to take up their responsibilities with commitment and to continue the spirit of service and leadership.
The newly appointed office bearers then took the oath, formally accepting their respective responsibilities and pledging to serve the club with dedication and sincerity.
The programme served as an important beginning for the new team and marked the transition of leadership from the previous office bearers to the 2026–2027 team.
