N.Ramasamy, Managing Director of Sri Seetha Lakshmi Steel Casting was elected as the New President of Coimbatore Industrial Infrastructure Association (COINDIA).
The new president, N. Ramasamy while addressing the members at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the association, opined that to address the manpower shortage, there is a plan to provide CNC operating training to 1,500 youths, comprising those who have completed Class 10 or 12 as well as ITI or diploma holders. There are also plans to employ them in industrial firms.
He further urged the government to come forward and provide financial assistance for this initiative from the sectoral development fund.
