PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS), Coimbatore joined hands with Sustainability and Energy Practitioners Association (SEPA), and Renewables Academy (RENAC), Germany to organize a three-day, International Advanced Training Programme on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Ilja Pawel, CEO & Founder, Dr. Pawel Consulting, Austria, and presided over. Kanchana, Director, PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Raguram Arjunan, President, SEPA, provided an overview of the training program and highlighted the growing importance of battery energy storage technologies in supporting renewable-energy integration, grid stability and the transition towards sustainable energy systems.
Held from August 18th to 20th, this advanced training program focuses on utility-scale BESS technologies, applications, system design and sizing, financial assessment, risk management, safety, international standards, warranties, performance guarantees, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance.

Expert-led technical sessions, industry case studies and interactive discussions will provide participants with practical insights into the planning and implementation of BESS projects. The program is being attended by leading industry professionals and stakeholders in the battery energy storage sector, including project developers, consultants, utilities, investors and engineering professionals.
