Vi Foundation, the CSR arm of Vodafone Idea, in partnership with Ericsson, has announced Robotsav, the Festival of Technology, an inter-school robotics platform designed to ignite innovation, creativity, and a passion for STEM among young students.
Conducted as part of the Robotics Lab Programme, the Robotsav website (https://robotsav.org/) was launched today (August 6) in collaboration with knowledge partner Moinee Foundation.
The initiative aims to provide students with hands-on exposure to robotics, 3D printing, programming, Virtual Reality (VR), and Generative AI through a blend of online and offline learning experiences, competitions, and collaborative activities. Robotsav introduces students to the world of robotics and Artificial Intelligence in an engaging and interactive manner.
Through the Robotsav website, students from across India can participate in contests such as quizzes and essay-writing competitions, explore blogs, and access curated learning resources to deepen their understanding of robotics, AI, and other emerging technologies.
Designed as an open digital platform, the website enables students to learn, engage, and build their skills at their own pace. Offline competitions under Robotsav will commence in the coming months, providing students with additional opportunities to showcase their skills and collaborate with peers.
Speaking on the initiative, Ambika Khurana, Chief Regulatory & Corporate Affairs Officer at Vodafone Idea and Director of Vi Foundation, said, “Robotsav is one of several initiatives aimed at contributing to the larger Digital India mission by making robotics and AI learning more engaging and accessible for young students.

“The Robotsav website builds on this effort by providing an easily accessible platform where students from across the country can learn, compete, and continue exploring the ever-evolving world of technology.
“Our objective is to inspire more young minds to innovate and pursue their passion for STEM.”
Through 20 Robotics Labs operating across seven states, the Robotics Lab Programme has positively impacted nearly 10,000 students across the country. Through the Robotsav website, Vi Foundation and Ericsson aim to build on this impact while nurturing the next generation of Indian technology innovators.
