Balagurusamy, former Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, received the “Fellow of Eminence of W-AHEAD” and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for his exceptional contributions to higher education, technology, and public service with dignity and integrity from Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Government of India, during the World Youth Skills Day 2026 celebrations held recently in New Delhi.
