Department of Computer Applications (UG-BCA), Hindusthan College of Arts and Science (HICAS) hosted its annual technical exhibition, Technamite ’24, at Chanakya Hall, recently.
This year’s event, themed “Technical Model Deployment in Different Domains,” highlighted cutting-edge advancements and innovative models developed by students.
Dr. P. Senthil Vadivu, Professor & Head of the Department, welcomed the attendees.
The highlight of the exhibition was the insightful keynote delivered by Amarnath Karthic M, Senior Embedded Engineer and Director at Embuzz Technologies Private Limited.
He shared his expertise on the latest trends and technologies in the IT sector, offering valuable perspectives on the future of technology. A key moment of the event was the release of the department magazine, TECHCRUNCH’24.
This publication features a compilation of noteworthy developments and achievements within the department, reflecting the innovative spirit of the students.
The exhibition showcased a variety of technical models, each representing different domains of technology. Students had the opportunity to display their projects and innovations, which were evaluated by Karthic.
The models demonstrated a wide range of applications, from embedded systems to advanced computing solutions. After a thorough evaluation, Karthic announced the prize winners, recognizing their exceptional creativity and technical prowess.
The event saw enthusiastic participation, with over 800 students visiting the exhibition to witness the groundbreaking work of their peers. The occasion concluded with A. Jayalakshmi, Assistant Professor, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, and attendees who made Technamite ’24 a success.
