Tiruppur is once again set to witness textile buyers from around the world converge at its iconic IKF Complex in September 2026 for one of the most awaited textile fairs in the country this year – the 53rd edition of India International Knit Fair (IIKF 2026).
Backed by Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) and the India Knit Fair Association (IKFA), this prestigious event has over the years, carved out a niche for itself as a pivotal platform for showcasing the latest trends, designs, and innovations in knitwear.
Inviting the exporters, manufacturers and industry members, A. Sakthivel, Chairman, Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) said that India has signed FTA with 38 countries, and this decade is going to be India’s especially for those in Textiles and Apparels. He emphasized the visitors can see a plethora of products from Cotton to MMF. “Above all we have started using AI technology (in the process) which is the talk of the world. So come visit us and you will understand,” he remarked.
KM Subramanian, President, Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA) invited exporters & manufacturers industry on behalf of India Knit Fair Association. He underlined that this event that is set to take place in September from 16th to 18th will be a platform for textile manufacturers to showcase their products. “This will be a strong platform for our exporters to present their latest collections, connect with buyers and buying agents and create new business opportunities in global market,” he said.
“By participating in this exhibition exporters can showcase their strength, highlight new product development and represent the future of Indian Knitwear to international buyers,” he added.
