A two-day training program on “Value Addition of Mushroom and Moringa” will be held at the Centre for Post-Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, on April 28 and 29, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The training will cover various processing technologies. Under moringa, participants will be trained in the preparation of moringa leaf powder, moringa powder, powder-incorporated paruppu podi, sambar podi, cookies, adai, noodles, and moringa pickle.
For mushrooms, the program will include training in mushroom powder, soup mix, mushroom noodles, mushroom pickle, mushroom masala, cookies, mushroom sauce, and dried mushrooms.
Interested persons can enrol by paying a fee of Rs.1,770 (including GST) in person on the first day of the training.
The number of participants is limited to 30 and selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
