PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iTech) and SanDisk Corporation formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently.
The SanDisk MoU intends to collaborate in conducting hackathons on Memory, Firmware, Software Tools, and AI/ML, and to deliver guest lectures that provide students with industry insights into electronics and emerging technologies.
The MoU marks an important step toward strengthening the relationship between academia and industry, promoting innovation, and preparing students with the skills required to succeed in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of distinguished representatives, Vasu, Dean – Academics; Vijaya Kumar, Dean – Electrical and Computer Engineering; Abdul Aleem, Dean – Industry Interaction and Outreach; Gomathy, Head, Department of CSE; Mahavishnu, Assistant Professor (Sl. Gr.), Department of CSE from PSG iTech and Venkatesh Duraisamy and Sundar PH, the Directors, and Lokesh Sarode and Panneerselvam Palaniswamy, Technologists from SanDisk.
The event concluded with the formal signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and a commitment from both institutions to work closely toward achieving the objectives outlined in the agreement.
