Shankar IAS Academy launched its new branch in Coimbatore at 100 ft road that is dedicated to provide UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) coaching.

K.Vivekananthan, District Judge, Coimbatore took part as the Chief Guest and launched the center along with R.Shuruthi, an alumna of the academy who secured All India Rank18 in the recently declared final results for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025.

Vaishnavi, Managing Partner, Shankar IAS Academy shared that 202 out of the 958 successful candidates who cleared he UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 were from Shankar IAS Academy.  In Tamil Nadu, 59-60 students cleared the exam and 39 of them studied with Shankar, and 17 out of the 39 were girl students.

This newly opened center gives special focus to UPSC CSE preparation, and she opined that it will play a good role in training more students from Coimbatore, aspiring to clear UPSC CSE exams.

When the media asked R.Shuruthi her message for the new aspirants, she said that students should set their aim high, and not think of UPSC as a hurdle.  She recommended optimally utilizing the resources available around them. “There are free coaching opportunities available around us, and even YouTube could be used to learn,” she said.
