PSG Polytechnic College and Fuji Electric India partnered to establish a new centre of excellence in the college campus that is designed to enhance the knowledge and skill of students in Energy and Automation.
Called PSG – Fuji Centre of Excellence in Energy and Automation, this facility which is set up at the EEE Department of the college has equipment sponsored by Fuji Electric India through its CSR grants.
“The new centre is armed with modern control drives, PLCs to enhance the knowledge and skill of students in Energy and Automation,” a press release from PSG mentioned.
It has been established as an industrial automation training facility with the objective of bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial applications. It aims to equip students and working professionals with hands-on training and industry-relevant skills required for modern automation environments.
Deenathayalan, Director & Chief Business Officer of Fuji Electric India inaugurated the centre in the presence of Giriraj, Principal of PSG Polytechnic College. Divyaa Raman, Senior Manager, team members of Fuji Electric India and faculty from PSG Polytechnic College.
